While rummaging through old sketches I made yonks and yonks ago I uncovered an idea I had way back when I called the “Monty Oaks Detective Squad”. Taking its cue from Stephen King’s “It” and “Twentieth Century Boys” it follows a primary school trio that Nancy Drew’d an ancient secret, and years later the grown-up gang of hormonal teens gets back together to tackle the horrors they unwittingly unleashed. No names for these characters just yet, right now their younger selves are just The Cool, The Brains and The Ditz, who grow up to become The Bully, The Princess and The Failure.
